What is the HydroFacial?

The HydroFacial is a medical-grade resurfacing treatment that clears out pores and hydrates, detoxifies and rejuvenates the skin with active ingredients. The treatment reveals glowing, refreshed and radiant skin with immediate results.

How long do results last?

Although your skin will appear dewy and glowy following a HydroFacial, the treatment isn’t a quick fix. Results do last far longer than other facials however it is intended to improve skins appearance over time. For maximum results we recommend treatment every 4-6 weeks.

How does it work?

Treatment involves the 8 steps below:
(All 8 steps are based on the full 90 minute HydroFacial)

HydroFacial treatments can be tailored to address the specific needs of each client e.g. Anti-Aging, Acne Clearing, Brightening & Hydrating.

Step 1 – Hydro peel 1 & 2 plus Deep Cleanse
Glycolic, Lactic and Salicylic Acids are used during this step to cleanse, hydrate and nourish the skin.

Step 2 – Exfoliation
The ‘BOHR’ effect: this step stimulates the skins metabolism helping to create a stronger and healthier skin. It helps to eliminate dull skin cells and creates a hydrating & brightening effect.

Step 3 – Skin Tightening
Radiofrequency technology is used to stimulate collagen production and tighten the appearance of the skin.

Step 4 – Hydro peel 3
Hyaluronic Acid & Peptides are used to hydrate, brighten, nourish & plump the skin.

Step 5 – Skin Lifting
Electroporation is used to increase the absorbency of the cell for product penetration. This revitalizes and wakes up dull and lifeless skin.

Step 6 – Fire
This step heats the skin which helps to further strengthen and improve the heath of the skin.

Step 7 – Ultrasound
This technology is used for vital product infusion.

Step 8 – Oxygenation & Ice
A filtered oxygen and hyaluronic acid breaks down the molecules within the product to encourage skin hydration. The ice head is then used to seal in product and closed down pores.

Are there any side effects?

The HydroFacial has minimal side effects and downtime post treatment. There may be some mild redness post treatment which will subside within a few hours – the degree of redness will vary from one individual to another.

Although the risk is low there is always a risk of allergy or irritation from the serums/products applied to the skin.

Treatment will only be carried out following a thorough consultation with our Advanced Skincare Specialist who will ensure this treatment is appropriate for you. This allows side effects to be discussed in detail before treatment is commenced. Following treatment we do recommend to let your skin rest and soak up all of the benefits of the facial for the rest of the day. We advise makeup can then be worn the next morning and resume your normal routine.
