What is Mesotherapy?

Mesotherapy is a minimally invasive technique that uses very fine needles to deliver a series of injections into the middle layer of the skin. A combination of vitamins, minerals, antioxidants and hyaluronic acid rejuvenate and tighten skin, as well as remove excess fat.

What are the benefits of Mesotherapy?

  • Skin hydration
  • Skin nourishment
  • Increased collagen
  • Improved blood flow
  • Provision of essential nutrients
  • Detoxification
  • Destruction of fat cells

What can Mesotherapy be used for?

Remove excess fat

  • Stomach
  • Arms

  • Face & Chin
  • Reduce cellulite
  • Fade wrinkles and lines
  • Tighten loose skin
  • Recontour the body
  • Lighten pigmented skin
  • Treatment for Alopecia

Does the procedure hurt?

We take all necessary precautions to ensure the treatment is as pain-free as possible – the needle used is extremely fine and we offer FREE local anaesthetic cream (available on request) although most clients report injections cause very little discomfort and can be well tolerated with no anaesthetic.

Are there any side effects?

Most common side effects occur immediately after treatment and consist of redness, swelling and bruising at the site of injection. This is normal and generally resolves within a couple of days.

Please note – you are more prone to bruising if you take Aspirin or related drugs, Vitamin E, Vitamin C or anti-coagulants.

Serious side effects from injections are very rare – however when we use products there is always a risk of allergy and whenever we break the skin, it carries the risk of infection.

Treatment will only be carried out following a thorough medical consultation with our Advanced Nurse Practitioner/Independent Prescriber. This allows side effects to be discussed in detail before treatment is commenced.

When will I see results?

Most people will see an improvement in their skin within 6-12 weeks following a course of treatment.

Mesotherapy for cellulite and fat dissolving should achieve 50% of the results: the rest is up to you. Drinking plenty water prior to treatment, following a healthy diet, limiting alcohol consumption, smoking and sun exposure will promote better results.

Sometimes further treatment may be required to achieve desired results depending on individual characteristics.
